From 1 till 3 October 2019 the International One Conference takes place in the World Forum The Hague, organised by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy and the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC-NL) of the Ministry of Justice and Security in the Netherlands.
Extra conference day One Conference 2019
In 2019 the One Conference has become a three day conference. Made possible in cooperation with the city of The Hague. In allignment with the One Conference, the city aims to stimulate the exchange of cybersecurity knowledge, ideas and innovations for a more secure future. During the three days, leading speakers from all over the world will share insights and developments in cyber security.
Focus on cybersecurity and economic opportunities
This year's conference edition will not merely focus on cybersecurity but also on the economic opportunities offered by the cyber domain. This is consistent with the approach chosen for the strengthening of the national cybersecurity.
Innovations for a more secure world
This years’ theme is ‘Keeping our Future Secure, Be Innovative, Stay Alert.’
A novelty this year is the organisation of an Innovation Floor. During three days, in close collaboration with the city of The Hague, a maximum of 15 organisations will be offered the opportunity to present their cyber security innovations.
The One Conference consists of a plenary program, various breakout sessions and an Innovation Floor. Technical topics such as malware detection, incident response, law enforcement cases and less technical subjects, such as public-private partnerships, are discussed. Attention is also given to research from industry and academia.
In plenary sessions and parallel tracks, leading experts and inspiring speakers will share their knowledge and experiences on topics related to the opportunities and threats of cyber security. The One Conference is interesting for a wide audience, from technical specialists to policy makers.
