Next year – from 05 to 07 November 2019 – the European Venture Philanthropy Association (EVPA) and ImpactCity will be joining strengths under the motto ‘doing good & doing business’. They will be organising a joint event at the Fokker Terminal in The Hague that both celebrates EVPA’s 15th anniversary and forms the 4th edition of Impact Fest.

From June 4-5 2019, the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) will be held in The Hague. At the GES, around 2.000 entrepreneurs, investors and other participants from all over the world will come together at World Forum The Hague.

The Hague steps up to the increasing demand for visitor accommodation by opening over 1000 extra hotel rooms in the near future. In the last three years, the city has steadily increased its recognition as a destination for international events and multi-day congresses and is now ready to facilitate the growth.

The International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) revealed that The Hague Convention Bureau (THCB) is in the finals for the renowned ICCA Best Marketing Award. THCB is nominated for its efforts to strengthen The Hague’s position as the Cyber Security Capital of Europe. The winner will be announced during the 57th ICCA Congress next month.

The city of The Hague is showcasing its strong commitment to environmental sustainability by supporting local initiatives that strive for building a better world. As ‘city by the sea’ The Hague sheds a light on maritime innovation makers by giving them a stage at this year’s The Hague Awards.
